Before we headed for the trails, we dropped by one of MOAP’s fish ponds to take our lunch. They took almost an hour to serve our order, so I snapped some infrared shots while waiting. After lunch, we headed for the trails to see some rare animals, including a huge snake, right in the wild, although I would think it was already dead since it wasn’t curled up and didn’t move a bit.
Infrared photography is one genre that will need much patience, especially when you don’t have a modified camera. One false move and your shot is ruined! This one took 15 seconds to expose. I am using a 720nm filter, just a fancy one, not too expensive. I hope I can get a modded camera some time soon because I find near-infrared lights really interesting!
